Been a while since I posted! This caught my eye and I wanted to share it for others.
Apple Silicon laptops are not like the PowerBooks from the old days. The tolerances are so thin, putting something in between the screen and keyboards can cause damage to your laptop, which is what you’re seeing above. This user didn’t know and put a keyboard protector on, which damaged thier display.
Fortunately they have AppleCare and Apple is helping them out, but please take this as a word of caution – don’t do this!
